Tamika England, M.Ed., LPC, NCC is a clinical telemental health provider for Anthem, Inc. the largest for-profit managed mental health care company. She is also in private practice in which she provides therapeutic services to adolescents, adults, and families. She strives to bring an effective blend of experience, expertise, clarity, concern, and action to the counseling process to maximize outcomes and provide genuine healing and wholeness to individuals, marriages, and families. Ms. England holds a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology and a Master’s of Education with a specialization in Community Counselor Education from Augusta University (formerly Georgia Regent’s University).
Ms. England has over ten years of experience in the Behavioral Health industry. She has a strong base of counseling experience working with adults and children in a wide variety of settings including outpatient specialty clinics, crisis intervention, structured outpatient programs, inpatient psychiatric clinics, community-based agencies, juvenile correctional facilities, and private practice, as well. Ms. England utilizes an integrated approach to Behavioral Health with Reality, Existential and CBT\Mindfulness techniques to encourage clients to conceptualize the notion that “when people have courage and can learn to challenge and replace irrational thoughts, beliefs, and attitudes, people are free to experience change.”

Her professional memberships include Chi Sigma Iota which is an international honor society for professional counselors. Pi Lambda Theta, one of the few prestigious honor societies for professional educators and the American Counseling Association.
