Wakisha E. Harvey, MBA, LPC, CPCS

Leadership is an opportunity to serve others and an opportunity to assist others to grow. In the words of Bob Goshen, “Leaders should influence others in a such a way that it builds people up, encourages and educates them so that they can duplicate this attitude in others.”

It is my passion to be a part of the growth process in individuals, particularly professionals, with the goal of assisting others to become their best, healthiest, and well-balanced self. In the field of behavioral health, we are charged with the responsibility to become part of the healing process for those that have experienced difficult circumstances in their lives. It is therefore my goal that we are enriched mentally and physically, in order to be that true change agent for those that we serve.

I have served as a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Georgia for the past nine years. I have had the great pleasure of working in the field of Behavioral Health as well as in the Corporate arenas for the past 17 years. I have worked in various behavioral health  and professional settings including Inpatient Psychiatric Care, Community Service Boards and CORE agencies in collaboration with the Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities in addition to settings such as Employee Assistance Programs.

My educational background includes a MA in Clinical Psychology from Argosy University in Atlanta, GA. I have a Masters in Business Administration from University of Phoenix in Atlanta, GA, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the University of Florida in Gainesville, FL.

I have also obtained a certification as a Certified Clinical Supervisor.

It is my goal to develop and motivate others to reach his or her true potential for the optimal result of  both personal and professional fulfillment.
