La Kendra Baker

La Kendra Baker is a Licensed Professional Counselor with eighteen years of inpatient and community behavioral health care experience. She has over 20 years of business development, professional staff development, and behavioral health admissions. She has worked in both a small business and corporate setting.

La Kendra Baker holds a BS in Criminal Justice with a concentration in Correction and a minor in Forensic Science from Jacksonville State University and a Master in Community Agency Counseling from Jacksonville State University. She holds a Master in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix. La Kendra Baker is a National Certified Counselor.

La Kendra Baker has been trained in Trauma Recovery and Empowerment Model (TREM), EMDR- From the EMDR Institute, Inc., Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral therapy, Seeking Safety: A model for Trauma and Substance abuse, Interpersonal Process in Psychotherapy.

She is certified in Anger Management. She continues to attend trainings across the United States that address the therapeutic needs of the consumers served.
